Weaving
2025
During two months the participants of the course studied textile techniques and created their own works in pairs. Showing of the works took place in the pavilion on the roof of the Museum.
The participants of the course were people with mental peculiarities and their accompanying parents or relatives. Some of the participants live in psychoneurological boarding schools and came to the classes with volunteers.
For two months on Sundays the participants worked in pairs on tasks that they could do: it could be creating a complex pattern or knitting just one knot.
The interaction in pairs allowed to look at the principle of helping work, which is familiar to the chaperones, from a different angle - from the point of view of artistic production.
