I work a lot with weaving, it's my main artistic medium. In recent graphic works, I've been experimenting with how you can weave without any technology, even if it's a simple wooden frame. This is how the textural weaving series came about, in which I take verbal readymades and make defamiliarised forms out of them, weaving them into jacquards or drawing graphics. The intersection of horizontals and verticals appears natural to me, as it resembles warp and weft. In graphic works, the fabric ripples, which makes it difficult to read the phrase, you have to make an effort to make out the handwriting. I work a lot with the combination of two colours - I hide sad, heavy or forbidden themes behind the ‘girlishness’ of pink.

Illustration to the conversation between A. Kiselev and E. The illustration for the conversation between A. Kiselev and E. Skripkina is modular - it could be combined in a square or in a strip, as the designer chose in the end. The rippling of the illustration on the cover (just textual weaving) was achieved by the technical peculiarities of working on the risograph - the printing master ran the sheet several times to achieve the overlapping of words. The illustrations themselves I drew from sketches created while listening to audio recordings of the talks.

Received a diploma at Non-fiction for the illustration to the conversation between A. Kiselev and E. Skripkina
